Polar billed Grit X2 as its most compact outdoor watch when it launched in June 2025. It keeps the Grit X2 Pro's sapphire glass, maps, MIL-STD-810H testing and Elixir sensors, but in a 44.7 mm plastic case with a smaller 1.28-inch screen and battery. The result is lighter, at 62 g with the strap, but rated WR50 rather than WR100.

Best for: Outdoor users with smaller wrists who want maps and sapphire glass from Polar
The ring’s outer track is the headline claim; the inner two are the always-on and GPS figures as a share of it. An empty track means Polar does not publish that figure. Why the figures differ
Polar cites no regulator clearance for a health feature on this model. Its heart-rate, sleep and blood-oxygen readings are wellness features.
A clearance says what a feature is allowed to claim, not that it replaces a doctor. Cleared versus wellness features
